Job summary

Made Employment Ltd, on behalf of a leading Debt Collection Agency, is expanding its Customer Contact team at the Romford Head Office. You will contact customers, both commercial and residential, about debts with their utility providers, with the aim of resolving as much debt as possible.

You will frequently engage with vulnerable customers, requiring excellent negotiation and empathy while staying focused on outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer contact or debt collection is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills and empathy when dealing with vulnerable customers.

Responsibilities

• Speak with customers about debt held with a utility company and negotiate to resolve it.
• Maintain empathy while aiming to maximise debt recovery and achieve outcomes.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion and adhere to compliance standards.
