Job summary
City Football Group is seeking an Emerging Talent Scout for Manchester City Women to help build the talent-ID function across live scouting, video analysis and market intelligence. You will identify and track emerging players to strengthen the Academy pathway and support long-term First Team planning.
The role spans priority UK and international markets, contributing to Academy recruitment, Next-Gen programme, and future First Team planning, with a focus on clear progression pathways and
Qualifications
- Experience in talent identification within professional football.
- Ability to project player development and distinguish current performance from future upside.
- Knowledge of academy or youth markets, preferably within women's football.
- Strong written communication skills and report generation.
Responsibilities
- Identify and track emerging players for the Academy pathway.
- Support Academy recruitment, the Next-Gen programme and First Team planning.
- Develop clear talent-ID processes, coverage, and reporting.
- Collaborate with coaches, analysts and sporting staff; travel extensively.
