North Bristol NHS Trust is seeking a compassionate Receptionist for the Emergency Zone. You will greet patients and carers, support clinical teams, and ensure interactions are delivered with empathy and professionalism.

Roles rotate across the Main ED Reception, Ambulance Receiving Centre, Acute Medical Unit and Minor Injury Unit, handling registrations, records, and queries with accuracy. Strong communication skills are essential, both face-to-face and over the phone.

Formación

• Experience in NHS reception or medical environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately registering patients and maintaining electronic records.
• Handle telephone enquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
• Receive and admit patients using relevant systems and maintain data security.
• Support clinical teams and provide information to patients with empathy and professionalism.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff and cover during staff absences.
