Fairfield General Hospital in Bury is seeking to appoint a flexible Receptionist (full- or part-time) to join the Emergency Department team. You will provide friendly, confidential and efficient reception and registration for patients, relatives and visitors around the clock.

The role includes handling ED IT systems, booking follow-ups, answering enquiries from staff and public, and performing a range of administrative duties. NHS values and infection control are part of the daily practice.

Mansioni

• Registering and discharging patients on the ED IT system, GP OOH system, and recording admissions and follow-ups on Patient Centre.
• Handling a range of face-to-face and telephone enquiries from nursing and medical staff, patients, relatives, GPs and external agencies providing general advice and information.
• Carrying out a comprehensive range of administrative and clerical duties to support the Emergency Department.
