Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is hiring an Emergency Health Advisor (EHA) on a 12‑week fixed‑term training contract with the potential to convert to a permanent position upon successful training completion. Roles available full-time and part-time with flexible shifts across Wakefield and York locations.

You will handle Emergency and Non-Emergency calls, provide patient guidance, and support dispatch teams in a busy Emergency Operations Centre.

Qualificações

• Five GCSEs A–C including English Language or NVQ Level 3.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in patient/customer focused roles.
• Experience in a call centre environment.
• IT literate and proficient with common office software.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Answer Emergency and Non-Emergency calls in the EOC.
• Provide patient guidance and information until ambulance arrives.
• Support Team Leaders and coaching of less experienced staff.
• Coordinate with Police, Fire and hospitals as required.
• Work flexible shifts including unsocial hours.
