Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Recruiting to lead hiring across EMEA and scale engineering talent internationally. You’ll guide a high-performing team, partner with senior leaders, and translate business priorities into scalable hiring strategies.

This role emphasizes data-driven decisions, stakeholder influence, and a focus on equity and inclusion while delivering hiring results across the UK, Poland, and Spain from a remote setup.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading full-cycle technical recruiting.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing recruiting teams.
• Deep knowledge of the EMEA talent market, with experience hiring in the UK, Poland, and Spain preferred.
• Experience developing and executing hiring strategies in new or emerging markets.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and build trusted partnerships with senior leaders.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using recruiting data and market insights to shape hiring strategies.
• Proven ability to lead recruiting teams through organizational growth and change while delivering hiring results.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting across EMEA, guiding a high-performing team to attract engineering talent at scale.
• Own the recruiting strategy for EMEA, aligning regional hiring plans with business priorities.
• Partner with Technical and cross-functional leaders to translate hiring plans into scalable strategies.
• Influence Directors and VP-level stakeholders through data, insights, and guidance.
• Use recruiting analytics to identify trends, forecast risks, and improve funnel performance.
• Collaborate with Talent Brand, Talent Operations, and Compensation to deliver a seamless hiring experience.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders through proactive talent advice.
