SimWest Engineering Recruitment is seeking a Sales Manager for engineered capital equipment across the EMEA region. The role is home-based in the UK with approximately 30% international travel and a base salary of £60,000–£65,000 plus commission and benefits.

The successful candidate will identify target customers, develop relationships, and manage opportunities from initial engagement through to order placement, working with engineering and applications teams to tailor solutions.

• Experience selling capital equipment into manufacturing environments.
• Background in consultative, high-value equipment sales.
• Ability to identify target customers and manage long sales cycles.

• Develop new business opportunities across the EMEA region.
• Identify and engage with prospective manufacturing customers.
• Build relationships with engineering, operations, production and senior management teams.
• Understand customer applications and technical requirements.
• Work with internal engineering teams to develop suitable solutions and proposals.
• Manage opportunities through the complete sales cycle.
• Present technical and commercial proposals.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and commercial terms.
• Build and manage your own sales pipeline.
• Attend customer sites, exhibitions and industry events where required.
