Hitachi Europe Ltd in the UK is seeking a Strategy Lead to define and deliver the EMEA strategic direction and transformation program over the next five years. You will work with the Chief Strategy Officer and President, align with global best practices, and coordinate with Hitachi Business Units, R&D, and regional teams across multiple sectors.

The role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical ability, and proven experience leading complex transformations in multinational organisations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Strategy, MBA or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrable strategy or strategic consulting experience, gained in a top-tier or specialist consultancy, or in a leading multinational organisation through a combination of technical, operational, management, business development or strategy roles.
• Proven track record of supporting or leading business transformation in a complex organisation.
• Experience leading strategic engagements, workstreams and teams, and applying recognised strategy frameworks and techniques.
• Experience in one or more of the Mobility and Transportation, Energy or Digital sectors.
• Experience working in diverse teams on complex strategy or consulting engagements and delivering high-quality outputs within demanding timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver Hitachi’s EMEA strategic direction and transformation milestones.
• Collaborate with Hitachi Business Units, Hitachi Limited in Japan, R&D and other regions to align strategy and best practices.
• Lead strategic engagements, manage workstreams and teams with clear success metrics.
• Support cross-BU collaboration and the One Hitachi agenda across EMEA.
