Job summary

Hitachi Solutions Europe Limited is seeking a seasoned Project Leader to drive complex multi-workstream programmes for our clients across Europe. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure delivery against scope, schedule, quality, and budget, and act as escalation point for risks and decisions.

You will mentor project managers, manage large budgets, and maintain strong client relationships, reporting to Delivery Leadership while following Hitachi delivery best practices and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale, multidisciplinary implementations across complex projects.
• Dynamics 365 implementation experience is highly desirable.
• Proven experience with AI-driven tools to enhance project delivery.
• Proficient with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and governance models.
• Experience delivering projects under Time & Materials and Fixed Price contracts.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects or multi-workstream programmes, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, quality, and budget.
• Direct teams of up to 25 consultants, providing support and intervention as needed.
• Act as primary escalation and management point for risks, issues, and delivery decisions.
• Capture risks, issues, decisions, and actions with ownership, priority and target dates.
• Elevate significant decisions, actions, issues and risks to Project Director/Steering Group.
• Create and maintain large, complex project plans aligned with delivery best practices.
• Ensure projects are resourced and manage associated requirements.
• Manage large budgets, forecast and client reporting; resolve budget challenges where possible.
• Maintain awareness of financial status and assist with debt collection when required.
• Prepare and present change requests to govern scope, cost, and timelines.
• Oversee estimation for project plans and change requests; own delivery effort forecasts.
• Ensure governance and stage-gate processes are followed with client approvals.
• Act as a key client contact, managing communications and relationships.
• Provide strategic reporting to senior stakeholders with clarity and alignment.
• Produce high-quality documentation including work orders and client presentations.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers within span of control.
• Execute responsibilities per Hitachi Solutions Europe Ltd's Quality Management Policy.
