Job summary

Hitachi Solutions Europe Limited is seeking a senior Delivery Director to lead large-scale digital, data and cloud transformation programmes across clients. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, align with client executives, and drive governance and quality across projects.

The role emphasizes strategic oversight, risk mitigation, and ensuring successful delivery, with regular office engagement and collaboration with customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering and leading large-scale business applications programmes and data transformation projects.
• Experience delivering programmes using Agile and Waterfall methodologies in complex environments.
• Proven ability to build relationships with senior executives and stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
• Demonstrated leadership of large, diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic engagement on projects with client executive stakeholders.
• Identify strategic risks and oversee their mitigation.
• Oversee quality of work orders and change requests, suggesting enhancements as needed.
• Approve project deliverables, forecasts, and timesheets; challenge content when necessary.
• Represent the Delivery Team in strategic client meetings and governance discussions.
• Articulate reports to client executives and communicate key messages clearly.
• Assess and validate complex project plans using Hitachi’s Consensus methodology.
• Advise senior client staff on governance and risk best practices.
• Lead conflict resolution and coordinate with the Hitachi Executive team.
• Own internal delivery processes and drive improvements within the team.
