Job summary
Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Head of Solution Engineering for the EMEA region to lead and grow a high-impact presales team. You will coach engineers, shape hiring, ramp new hires, and guide deal reviews from discovery through close.
You will drive presales execution across discovery, demos, POVs, architecture reviews, and AI-assisted productivity. Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Marketing in EMEA, own forecasting, and report on win rates to the Sr. Director of Solution Engineering.
Qualifications
- Experience leading Solutions Engineering or Presales teams in B2B SaaS.
- Proven ability to translate technical value into executive storytelling.
- Strong API-first and headless platform sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Own EMEA region and drive Solutions Engineering team success.
- Manage, coach, and develop engineers including hiring and 1:1s.
- Participate hands-on from discovery to deal close on high-impact opportunities.
- Execute presales motions: discovery, demos, POVs, and architecture reviews.
- Translate technical capabilities into business outcomes for stakeholders.
- Drive AI tool usage for prep and documentation.
- Own regional forecasting and pipeline hygiene for presales.
- Report on team performance and win rates.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing in EMEA.
- Maintain presales toolkit resources and evaluation guides.
- Report to Sr. Director of Solution Engineering on strategy.
