Job summary

CloudHQ is seeking a Lead, Security – EMEA to oversee the design, deployment, and commissioning of physical and IP-based security systems for its data centers across Europe. You will ensure adherence to technical standards and reliable operation across sites, drawing on 10+ years of mission-critical security experience.

You will coordinate engineering and vendor resources, lead security system integration, perform site inspections, review technical packages, and support tender evaluations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering security systems in mission critical or data center environments.
• Hands on experience with IP CCTV and storage systems
• IP Access Control and management platforms
• Intruder alarm and perimeter monitoring systems
• Structured cabling related to security
• Solid understanding of commissioning, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Strong project management and problem solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with data center security standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to coordinate effectively across dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, coordination, and implementation of IP based security solutions across new data center developments.
• Act as the Security Systems Lead, aligning engineering and vendor resources with overall project requirements and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with CloudHQ technical standards and employer’s specifications.
• Perform regular site inspections to ensure installations meet quality and technical standards.
• Review and approve technical documentation and design packages before submission.
• Support tender and bid evaluations related to security systems.
• Oversee deployment and commissioning of IP CCTV, intruder alarms, intercoms, IPTV systems, and related networks.
• Engage and manage multiple vendors and security technology partners.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients to address security requirements.
• Act as the point of contact for Authorized Technology Partners and technical queries.
• Stay ahead of emerging security technologies and drive workshops and training.
• Lead efforts to maintain high standards of service and measurable operational reliability.
