Job summary

Guidepost Solutions in London seeks a Security Project Manager to oversee embedded data centre security initiatives within a global programme. You will manage complex installations, renovations, and system upgrades, aligning with strict security standards and client expectations.

The role requires six to eight years of PM experience in technical security, regional travel, and ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams while delivering on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Six to eight years of project management experience in the technical security industry, with data centre exposure.
• Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, Prince2 or PMP are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project management lifecycle and ability to define milestones and monitor deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Act as client security SME across multiple concurrent, large-scale data centre security projects, overseeing third-party teams and ensuring delivery aligns with client standards.
• Understand and enforce client technical security standards; identify non-compliance and oversee rectifications.
• Oversee physical security and low-voltage system integration, commissioning, and QA.
• Conduct on-site progress assessments and compliance reviews.
• Monitor and drive progress across the regional project portfolio and report delays or non-conformances.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful security outcomes.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks; ensure issues are tracked and resolved.
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets where required.
• Communicate strategic goals and progress to senior leadership across the region.
