Job summary

CloudHQ is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems for data center projects across Europe.

The role requires coordinating with contractors, vendors and stakeholders to ensure safety, scheduling, and compliance with codes, while delivering reliable, energy-efficient facilities.

Proven experience in data centers or mission-critical environments, a degree in mechanical engineering, and strong leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of design, installation, and testing of mechanical systems for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Familiarity with mechanical redundancy principles and energy efficiency strategies for scalable infrastructure.
• Construction Management knowledge and experience with large-scale mechanical scopes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with general contractors to ensure procurement, delivery, and installation align with construction milestones.
• Review drawings and specifications for compliance and constructability while ensuring on-site execution.
• Provide regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders, detailing risks and milestones.
