Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Regional Vice President of Sales Engineering to lead and scale a world-class SE team, bridging AI capabilities with enterprise CX value. You will partner with regional sales leadership to expand into new markets and improve technical win rates.

You’ll hire and mentor SE managers, evangelize Zendesk’s AI CX platform at industry events, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical field required.
MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
8+ years in pre-sales/sales engineering management with people-manager experience in enterprise SaaS.

Responsibilities

Lead regional Sales Engineers to penetrate new enterprise markets and verticals.
Architect the pre-sales blueprint for large-scale enterprise accounts.
Drive technical win rates via PoC, pilot standards, and custom demos.
Hire, develop, and mentor SE managers and foster high-performance, value-driven culture.
Serve as a technical evangelist for AI CX, delivering executive briefings and keynotes.
Collaborate with Field, Product, and Engineering to align AI CX roadmap with business needs.
