Job summary

Primark is seeking an International Payroll Operations Manager (12-month FTC) to lead end-to-end payroll delivery across multiple countries in EMEA. You will manage a high-performing team, ensure on-time and accurate payroll processing, and drive improvements with the Global Payroll Team.

The role requires extensive payroll experience, strong leadership, and the ability to influence across regions while maintaining rigorous compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience managing EMEA payrolls and payroll systems.
• Strong project management experience.
• Demonstrable experience of managing and coaching individuals and teams in high pace environments.
• Ability to lead and influence others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presenting complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strong high-performing payroll team.
• Manage payroll processes for supported countries end-to-end with timely, accurate delivery.
• Review and approve payrolls in line with compliance controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements within international payroll operations.
• Lead new markets and store implementations for payroll.
• Coordinate with Global Payroll Team meetings and stakeholders.
