Job summary

Pro-Recruitment Group is recruiting a Payroll Manager for the EMEA region, based in Manchester. You will lead end-to-end monthly payroll across 15 European countries, coordinating with ADP and in-country partners to ensure accurate payroll delivery for 1000 employees.

You will drive improvements, manage payroll queries, and ensure compliance with UK and European legislation. The role requires mentoring a Payroll Officer and working on-site four days a week in Manchester.

Qualifications

• Significant payroll management experience across EMEA / multiple European countries.
• Experience with ADP and outsourced payroll providers.
• Strong knowledge of UK and European payroll legislation and governance.
• Experience with RSU processing and payroll tax implications.
• Experience of UK pension administration.
• Ability to work on-site in Manchester 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end monthly payroll across 15 European countries, including ADP.
• Ensure payroll queries are resolved and improve employee experience.
• Collaborate with country partners to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Oversee payroll data and payslips for 1000 employees in the region.
• Validate and reconcile ADP outputs and support balance sheet analysis.
• Monitor payroll controls and implement improvements for accuracy.
• Coach and develop a Payroll Officer.
