Job summary

Primark Stores Limited is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to oversee end-to-end payroll for Belgium and other international markets. You will coordinate inputs with local stakeholders and providers, ensuring timely, audit-ready payroll data and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of payroll experience, professional accreditation (CIPP or equivalent), and strong Excel and analytical skills.

• Manage end-to-end payroll operations for assigned international markets (Belgium), ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery.
• Coordinate payroll inputs with local stakeholders and payroll providers, while monitoring key deadlines and mitigating risks.
• Perform payroll validations, audit‑compliant checks, year‑end activities, and support internal and external audit requirements.
• Act as a key contact for payroll‑related queries, finance reconciliations, tax submissions, and third‑party payments.
• Lead regular meetings with payroll providers and collaborate with global payroll teams to track and resolve actions and issues.
• Maintain payroll documentation, ensure compliance with local legislation, identify process improvements, and provide support across the wider payroll team as needed.
