Job summary

Light & Wonder, Inc. in Manchester is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations across the EMEA region, including the UK. You will collaborate with Finance, ICPs and our payroll provider to ensure compliant, on-time payroll for approximately 1,000 employees across 15 countries.

The role requires strong knowledge of UK and European payroll legislation, experience with outsourced providers, and a track record of process improvements in global payroll environments.

Qualifications

• Significant payroll management across multiple European countries.
• Experience with UK and European payroll legislation and compliance.
• Experience coordinating with outsourced payroll providers (e.g., ADP Celergo).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end monthly payroll across 15 European countries, including the UK.
• Coordinate with People Capabilities, Finance, ICPs and external providers to ensure timely payroll delivery.
• Oversee payroll data validation and payslips for around 1,000 employees.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate Jira records and resolve payroll queries promptly.
