Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist based in the UK to deliver end-to-end payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries. You will drive automation initiatives, work closely with external providers and internal stakeholders, and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience processing payroll, in-house, for multiple countries across EMEA.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to handle confidential data.
• Experience with payroll automation and continuous process improvements.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll cycle for various countries in EMEA, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare tax statements and mandatory payroll documents per country requirements.
• Maintain awareness of payroll legislation and update systems accordingly.
• Ensure timely payroll cut-offs and approvals with providers and partners.
• Deliver month-end payroll reports to Finance and support audit requests.
• Contribute to payroll process improvement and digitisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with The People Team and Finance stakeholders to maintain a trusted payroll service.
