Job summary

Econic Partners is seeking a proactive Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end payroll and benefits across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll work with HR, Finance and external providers to ensure accurate, compliant and timely payroll processing and reporting.

The role offers exposure to Workday, EoR arrangements, and ongoing process improvements in a fast‑growing international firm. UK payroll knowledge and cross-border experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation including PAYE and NICs.
• Experience managing international multi-country payrolls across European jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to deliver monthly and annual payroll submissions on time.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery of accurate and timely multi-country payrolls across jurisdictions.
• Manage payroll calendars, approvals and monthly/year-end reporting to tax authorities and GL.
• Reconcile payroll to General Ledger and resolve discrepancies with Finance.
• Administer and reconcile employee benefits with brokers and providers.
• Manage external payroll and benefits providers, SLAs, costs and performance.
• Maintain data across Workday, payroll platforms and Finance systems; fix data issues.
• Act as payroll SME, supporting employees and partnering with HR/Finance.
