Job summary

Citi London is seeking a senior leader to co-head the EMEA electronic execution franchise. You will guide strategy, resource allocation, and revenue growth across algorithmic trading, DMA, SOR, and crossing networks, while maintaining strong client relationships and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with sales, technology, and quants to innovate execution platforms, improve latency, and deliver exceptional outcomes for institutional clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in electronic equity execution at senior level (Director or equivalent).
• Deep expertise across algorithmic trading, DMA, SOR, and EMS/OMS in EMEA markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the EMEA electronic execution franchise with strategic direction and resource allocation.
• Own key institutional client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and feedback-driven product improvements.
• Collaborate with Prime Services, equity product teams, quant research, and technology to expand reach and optimize execution quality.
• Oversee development and performance of execution algorithms, monitor TCA, and refine trading logic with quants and developers.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives like market connectivity expansions and new product launches while managing compliance and risk.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of electronic trading professionals.
