Butler Rose Ltd is looking for an experienced EMEA Head of Electronic Trading Compliance based in London. This senior leadership role involves oversight of electronic and algorithmic trading compliance across EMEA in global markets.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of UK & EU regulatory frameworks, proven oversight experience, and the capability for market abuse surveillance. Additional responsibilities include the implementation of regulatory controls and compliance risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in compliance risk assessment across trading systems.
• In-depth knowledge of EMEA market structure and multi-asset trading.
• Strong capability in trade surveillance systems and alert reviews.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of electronic and algorithmic trading compliance frameworks across EMEA.
• Implementation and validation of regulatory controls under MiFID II and FCA requirements.
• Execution of trade surveillance and market abuse investigations.
