Job summary

Citi London is seeking a Co-Head of EMEA Electronic Execution to lead and scale our electronic trading franchise across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The role combines sales, technology, research and product innovation to drive revenue growth and excellence in execution.

You will oversee algorithmic trading suites, DMA, SOR, and cross‑asset connectivity while working with institutional clients, quants and developers to stay ahead of market structure and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience in electronic equity execution, including algorithmic trading, DMA and SOR.
• Proven track record in front-office leadership with P&L ownership.
• Strong client relationship management with institutional clients across EMEA.
• Technical fluency in market microstructure and low-latency execution systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the EMEA electronic execution franchise with strategic direction and resource allocation.
• Own primary client relationships, gather feedback, and translate market intelligence into product improvements.
• Collaborate with Prime Services, equity product, research and technology to expand reach and flows.
• Oversee development and optimization of execution algorithms, monitor TCA, and improve fill rates.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives like market connectivity, dark pools, AI/ML enhancements and new launches.
• Recruit, mentor and manage a high-performing team while upholding risk and governance.
