Job summary

HBK HottingerBrüel&Kjær seeks an educated engineer to deliver active technical support across the UK and Nordics, with occasional wider EMEA scope. The role combines pre-sales and post-sales activities, requiring strong communication and CRM proficiency.

You will work from the Royston, UK office or Virum, Denmark, with some travel after training and ramp-up. A background in electrical/mechanical measurements and signal analysis is preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Electrical Quantities and Electrical Power Testing.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical measurements.
• Hands-on application knowledge in measurement environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide active customer support during pre-sales and post-sales activities, on-site and remotely.
• Provide technical assistance in quotation and tender preparation.
• Collaborate with EMEA Sales Support Team, R&D, Sales, and Product Management.
• Qualify and assess technical customer requests with Sales.
• Record, track, and follow up on technical requests using CRM.
• Coordinate across departments to deliver timely, accurate responses.
• Support exhibitions, trade shows, and customer events as required.
