Job summary

Enerpac Tool Group Corp. in the UK is seeking an Applications Engineer for our Cramlington team.

This hybrid role requires onsite work four days per week with a flexible remote day on Fridays and travel about 25% across EMEA. You will provide technical expertise throughout the sales process, translating customer requirements into practical product solutions and managing technical projects from enquiry to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in application engineering, technical sales or another customer-facing engineering role.
• Experience in an industrial, OEM, manufacturing, engineering or technical distribution environment.
• Experience assessing technical requirements and developing engineered product solutions.
• Knowledge of design standards, technical documentation or product certification requirements.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions for Enerpac products and projects.
• Develop proposals and final quotations with Sales, Engineering and Project teams.
• Provide technical support during the bid process and customer interactions across EMEA.
• Coordinate technical projects from enquiry through delivery, ensuring scope and timelines.
• Support safe project delivery and maintain technical documentation throughout projects.
