Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking a highly skilled Prestige Vehicle Technician for a premier independent German and sports car specialist in the East Midlands, near Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire. The role offers a modern facility with advanced diagnostic suites and a collaborative, enthusiast-led culture.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in prestige/luxury brands (VAG, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche), NVQ IMI Level 3, and strong diagnostic skills. Full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on workshop experience with prestige brands.
• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 qualification mandatory.
• Advanced diagnostic skills and fault-finding on modern systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, health checks, and preventative care on sports cars and luxury marques.
• Execute complex mechanical overhauls including timing chains, engines, gearboxes, suspension and brakes.
• Conduct advanced diagnostic fault-finding and root cause analysis on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections and pre-MOT safety checks to high standards.
• Maintain clear electronic job records and ensure right-first-time quality.
