Hawk Hiring Nottingham is seeking an ambitious Vehicle Technician to join a high-spec workshop. If you have VAG or prestige/performance experience and a commitment to precision engineering, you’ll train through official manufacturer pathways in a world-class environment.

Base salary £36,000 with uncapped earning potential, Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime. Fully funded training and generous dealer benefits help you reach Master Tech status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years hands-on experience as a dealership or specialist technician with VAG or prestige brands.
• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and vehicle health checks to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnostic fault isolation and mechanical repairs across high-performance engines and systems.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections and safety checks on high-spec stock and customer cars.
• Maintain clear electronic job records and communicate with service advisors and workshop managers.
• Collaborate with a supportive workshop team promoting quality workmanship.

Core Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and vehicle health checks (VHC) to rigorous manufacturer standards
• Conduct diagnostic fault isolation and mechanical repairs across high-performance engines, drivetrains, and electronic systems
• Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and safety checks on high-spec retail stock and customer sports cars
• Maintain clear electronic job records and communicate effectively with service advisors and workshop managers
• Collaborate closely with a supportive, high-performing workshop crew that values positive team culture and camaraderie

Candidate Profile

• Technical Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience working as a dealership or specialist technician with VAG (Audi, VW, SEAT, Škoda) or prestige/performance brands
• Character & Team Fit: A positive, reliable team player with high integrity, great communication, and pride in clean craftsmanship
• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent qualification)
• Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
