Hawk Hiring is seeking a highly skilled Prestige Vehicle Technician for a premier independent German and sports car specialist in the East Midlands near Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire. The role covers maintenance, disassembly, and high-end diagnostics on luxury brands, with modern bays and specialist tooling in a supportive, enthusiast-led workshop.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in prestige brands, NVQ/IMI Level 3, and a pride in premium craftsmanship, with a Monday–Friday schedule and optional

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years hands-on workshop experience with prestige/luxury/high-performance brands such as VAG, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche.
• Advanced diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities on modern systems.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, health checks, and preventive care on sports cars and luxury models.
• Execute complex mechanical overhauls including timing chains, engines, gearboxes, suspensions and brakes.
• Conduct advanced diagnostic fault-finding and root-cause analysis on electrical and mechanical setups.
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and safety checks to specialist standards.
• Maintain clear electronic job records and ensure right-first-time quality.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform routine scheduled servicing, health checks (VHC), and preventative care on sports cars, luxury marques, and performance models
• Execute complex mechanical overhauls, including timing chains, engine components, gearboxes, suspension, and brake systems
• Conduct advanced diagnostic fault-finding and root-cause analysis on complex electrical and mechanical setups
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and pre-MOT safety checks to rigorous specialist standards
• Maintain clear electronic job records and ensure meticulous right-first-time quality control

Candidate Profile

• Technical Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on workshop experience working with prestige, luxury, or high-performance automotive brands (VAG, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche)
• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Mandatory)
• Technical Ability: Advanced diagnostic skills, strong fault-finding capabilities, and complete tool confidence on modern systems
• Mindset: Quality-focused technician with high attention to detail and genuine pride in premium craftsmanship
• Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
