Job summary

Leicester City Football Club is seeking a Foundation Phase Coach to work with 9–11-year-olds in the Leicester City Academy, delivering engaging, age-appropriate coaching that develops technique, decision making and confidence. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in young player development and hold a UEFA B coaching badge (or be working towards it).

You’ll communicate positively with players, parents, coaches and management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in young player development.
• Minimum UEFA B qualification (or working towards).
• Ability to communicate positively with young players, parents, coaches and management and maintain high energy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate coaching practices aligned with the Academy curriculum.
• Support development of 9–11-year-old players to become confident, skilful and adaptable footballers.
• Bring a pro-active and innovative approach to coaching in a fast-paced environment.
