Job summary

Leicester City Football Club is seeking a Foundation Phase Coach to support the development of 9-11-year-old players within the Academy. You will plan and deliver age-appropriate coaching in line with the Academy curriculum and foster an engaging, inclusive learning environment that challenges players to grow as confident, skilful and adaptable footballers.

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in young player development, possess UEFA B (or be working towards it), and

• Significant experience in young player development and knowledge of appropriate technique and skill development.
• Ability to communicate positively with young players, their parents, coaches and management with energy and enthusiasm.
• Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About The Role & Who We're Scouting

We're on the lookout for passionate and skilled Foundation Phase Coaches to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club. You'll play a key role in supporting the development of young players within Leicester City Academy by creating an engaging, inclusive and appropriately challenging learning environment that enables players aged 9-11 to develop as confident, skilful, intelligent and adaptable footballers.

Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering high-quality, age-appropriate coaching practices that align with the Academy curriculum and the developmental needs of 9-11-year-old players, and you'll need to bring a pro-active and innovative approach to the table. If you're excited about making a difference and contributing to the Club’s success, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of young player development and knowledge of appropriate technique and skill development practices.
