Job summary

Stoke City Football Club is seeking an Academy Goalkeeping Coach to support its Category One status Academy at Clayton Wood Training Ground and other development locations. You will implement the goalkeeping philosophy, plan and deliver sessions, and report to the Head of Academy Coaching.

The role requires evenings/weekends as needed and a commitment to safeguarding. The ideal candidate will have UEFA B Goalkeeping and coaching qualifications, elite-level experience, and the ability to lead a

Qualifications

• Experience coaching at an academy or centre of excellence.
• Ability to plan and deliver coaching sessions.
• Knowledge of elite level requirements.
• Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team.
• Willingness to cover evenings and weekends.
• DBS checks and safeguarding compliance prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Planning, delivering and evaluating all coaching activities.
• Reviewing and recommending changes to the coaching curriculum.
• Providing reports to the Head of Academy Coaching.
• Monitoring and analysing player’s performance.
• Meeting with Lead Phase Coaches to discuss progress of players.
• Developing players through coaching and evaluation.
