Job summary

Redline Group Ltd is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Electronic Components in the North UK to drive growth and manage key accounts. You will cultivate relationships with new and existing customers, promote the full range of electronic components, and coordinate with internal teams to meet targets.

The role requires strong knowledge of electronics, proven development and negotiation skills, and experience with inventory solutions such as VMI.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the electronics industry and components.
• Proven track record in business development and key account management.
• Experience identifying new customers, markets and applications.
• Commercially driven with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with VMI or customer inventory solutions desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a profitable portfolio of existing and new customers
• Drive design-in activity and promote the full range of products and services
• Develop account strategies and identify new markets, applications and opportunities
• Manage sales enquiries through to order and take commercial ownership of customer relationships
• Achieve or exceed sales and gross profit targets
• Manage customer inventory and support VMI programmes where required
• Attend customer meetings, QBRs and industry events
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements
• Work closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers to resolve commercial and operational issues
