Electronics Engineer

Electronics Engineer – Support

Note: This is NOT an IT / Computer Support role – It is an electronics role.

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Hybrid role (2 weeks home-based, 2 weeks office-based) – Blackburn, Bolton, Manchester, Liverpool, Bury, Rochdale, Preston, Burnley

Salary: £25,000 rising to £27,000 after 6 months

Start Date: ASAP

You will join an established business in the electronics manufacturing and installation sector. As an Electronics Helpdesk Support Engineer, your role will be to provide first-line telephone support to engineers, distributors, and colleagues. You will diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, asking targeted questions to quickly identify the root cause. You will guide clients through a series of actions via phone, email, or chat until the issue is resolved.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, an interest in electronics, and prior experience in a telephone support role for electronic products.

This role is suitable for individuals currently working as Electronics Engineer – Support, Electronics Helpdesk Support Engineer, Electronics Helpdesk Support, 1st Line Electronics Support Engineer, 1st Line Technical Support – Electronics, Helpdesk, Customer Support, and who live within a commutable distance of Manchester, Liverpool, Bury, Rochdale, Preston, Burnley, or are willing to relocate.
