Job summary

Renault Group's Alpine Formula One Team in Enstone is seeking an Electronics Integration Student Placement to help design the mechanical installation of electronic systems on the F1 car. You'll work with electronic designers and other design groups to ensure proper integration.

The 1-year placement starts July 2027 in Enstone. You should be studying Mechanical Engineering, have experience with 3D CAD (3DX preferred), and have motorsport internship experience.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Mechanical Engineering with strong engineering fundamentals.
• Experience using 3D CAD to design mechanical components (3DX preferred).
• First experience in a race team or motorsport environment (internship or Formula Student).
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship cannot be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the mechanical integration of electronic components
• Support the design of wiring harness installation
• Help maintain documentation of electronic systems
• Collaborate with other design groups, electronics production and trackside teams to ensure robust and reliable mechanical integration
