Leonardo UK is seeking an Electronic Engineer to join the Cyber & Security Solutions Division in Yeovil to help design, develop, integrate and qualify NIGHTSHADE, the next generation of modular secure infrastructure. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across electrical power, data networks and systems engineering, contributing to secure, resilient and deployable solutions.

The role is primarily based on-site at Yeovil with flexible and hybrid working options available where compatible

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in electronic, electrical, systems or related engineering discipline.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals including power distribution and electrical safety.
• Experience interpreting electrical designs, calculations, models or specifications.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the design of electrical systems and interfaces for NIGHTSHADE.
• Support data networks and ICT integration with products.
• Develop and use models for electrical, thermal and transient behaviours.
• Collaborate with mechanical, systems, manufacturing and other engineering teams.
• Define and maintain system requirements with traceability through the lifecycle.
• Support verification, validation, qualification and certification activities.
• Produce engineering documentation including specs and calculations.
• Identify issues and risks, escalating with evidence and recommendations.
• Participate in design reviews and knowledge sharing within NIGHTSHADE team.
