Job summary

Leonardo seeks an Electronic Engineer for our Yeovil facility to contribute to the design of small-power electrical systems, including battery-management and filtering arrangements. You will support LAN design, develop models, and work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate components.

The role requires a structured approach, ability to work independently on defined activities, and a drive toward greater technical independence. UK BPSS screening applies. Hybrid onsite work is available.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in electronic/electrical/systems engineering.
• Ability to interpret electrical designs, schematics and calculations.
• Understanding of systems engineering: requirements, decomposition, verification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design of small-power electrical systems and battery-management solutions.
• Support LAN design and ICT integration.
• Develop models and simulations for electrical, thermal, and transient behaviours.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for system integration.
• Produce and maintain engineering documentation and evidence.
