Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer in Gloucester to work on bespoke transformers, magnetic assemblies and power electronic products. You'll join a collaborative engineering team across the full product lifecycle, from concept through to production, delivering innovative solutions for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Proven electrical design experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Design and development of power electronics, magnetic assemblies and specialist electrical equipment.
• Support products throughout the full lifecycle, from concept and prototyping through to production.
• Produce detailed electrical drawings, BOMs and engineering specifications.
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing and project engineering teams.
• Carry out design reviews, product testing and technical problem-solving to enhance performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power electronic systems and control circuits.
• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Use electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN or similar.
• Strong knowledge of transformers, magnetic components and electromagnetic principles.

• Understanding of electrical standards, compliance requirements and manufacturing processes.

We are recruiting an Electronics Design Engineer to join a growing engineering company near Gloucester, working on the design and development of bespoke transformers, magnetic assemblies and power electronic products.
