Job summary

Veolia is seeking a skilled installer to fit insulation joints on district heating pipework in London, with occasional travel to sites. You will assist with installation and welding, and produce detailed joint reports with readings and pressure test results.

You will gain manufacturers accreditations and on‑the‑job learning opportunities, becoming a recognised installer within Veolia's district heating team. Preference given to candidates with prior site experience.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is essential.
• Experience working on construction sites is essential.
• Experience with hand and/or power tools is essential.
• Experience with Mittel and Logstor joints is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install insulation joints on the district heating network pipework using Mittel or Logstor joints.
• General assistance with the installation and welding of the pipe work.
• Create reports for each joint made, including alarm wire readings and pressure test results.

What you'll be doing

• Install insulation joints on the district heating network pipework using Mittel or Logstor joints
• General assistance with the installation and welding of the pipe work
• Creating reports for each joint made, including alarm wire readings and pressure test results
• Learning on-the-job and gaining manufacturers accreditations to become a recognised installer

What we're looking for

• CSCS card is essential
• Experience working on construction sites is essential
• Experience working with hand/power tools is essential
• Experience with Mittel and Logstor joints would be desirable
• Must be willing to assist with other tasks associated with the installation of District heating pipe work
• Must be willing to travel to various sites
