Job summary

Veolia is seeking a motivated installer for district heating pipework in London, with travel to various sites. The role involves installing insulation joints, welding support, and creating detailed joint reports.

A CSCS card and site experience are essential, along with the willingness to travel and learn through on-the-job training to gain manufacturer accreditations. The position offers a 40-hour week, London location, and a benefits package including pension, health services, and development

• Experience with Mittel and Logstor joints is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install insulation joints on the district heating network pipework using Mittel or Logstor joints.
• Assist with installation and welding of the pipe work.
• Create reports for each joint, including alarm wire readings and pressure test results.
• Learn on-the-job and gain manufacturers accreditations to become a recognised installer.

Salary: £37000 per annum plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: London (with travel to sites)

What you'll be doing

• Install insulation joints on the district heating network pipework using Mittel or Logstor joints
• General assistance with the installation and welding of the pipe work
• Creating reports for each joint made, including alarm wire readings and pressure test results
• Learning on-the-job and gaining manufacturers accreditations to become a recognised installer

What we're looking for

• CSCS card is essential
• Experience working on construction sites is essential
• Experience working with hand/power tools is essential
• Experience with Mittel and Logstor joints would be desirable
• Must be willing to assist with other tasks associated with the installation of District heating pipe work
• Must be willing to travel to various sites
