Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our Repairs Team. You will inspect, fault-find, repair and rebuild electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs returned from service, developing knowledge of Saab Seaeye's ROV product range from component level to final testing and sign-off.

Qualifications

Experience in electro-mechanical repair and refurbishment.
Ability to read electrical schematics and work instructions.
Proficient in structured fault-finding and testing.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, repair and rebuild electro-mechanical assemblies and PCBs.
Carry out fault-finding using drawings and schematics.
Perform soldering and assembly activities to required standards.
Work on complex assemblies and assist with hydrostatic/soak testing as needed.
Complete repair and refurbishment records accurately and efficiently.
Identify recurring faults and contribute to continuous improvement.
Support quality checks and verification of others' work.
