NOV is seeking an Electro Mechanical Service Technician to join our Aftermarket Field Service team. Based primarily at the Kintore facility, you will travel to client locations globally, including offshore environments, to service, repair and commission Wireline equipment.

You will apply a solid electrical foundation while developing mechanical capabilities, diagnosing faults and delivering practical solutions to keep equipment operational.

Qualifications

• HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant hands‑on experience in electrical, electronics, electro‑mechanical or industrial maintenance environments.
• Strong electrical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and perform mechanical work.
• Fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities on machinery or equipment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience communicating with customers in field service scenarios.
• Willingness to travel internationally and undertake offshore assignments.
• CompEx certification if not already held (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Service, troubleshoot, repair and commission NOV Wireline equipment at NOV and customer locations.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and implement repair solutions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions.
• Respond to breakdowns and coordinate resources to restore operation safely.
• Communicate with customers and provide updates during field service activities.
• Inspect equipment for defects and non‑conformances per procedures and standards.
• Complete service reports and technical documentation after inspections and repairs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and on‑time delivery across service activities.
• Travel internationally and to offshore environments as required.
