Job summary

Expert Employment Limited is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot specialist electronic systems used in marine and shore-based environments. You will travel regularly across the UK and internationally to service customers and ensure equipment operates reliably.

Responsibilities include on-site installation, fault-finding, testing, remote support from the office and providing customer training.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service, maintenance or technical support engineering.
• Background in electronics, electrical engineering, radar, navigation, communications or similar systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and diagnose faults.
• Basic computer hardware, software and networking knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence and valid passport.
• Willingness to travel internationally, sometimes at short notice.
• ONC, HNC or equivalent technical qualification is desirable but not essential.
