Job summary

TechnipFMC plc is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver safe, efficient field service operations across onshore and offshore environments. You will prep, install, test, maintain and repair equipment, while liaising with customers and project teams to ensure high-quality service worldwide.

The role offers opportunities to lead field activities, mentor junior colleagues and build strong client relationships, with a proactive, safety-focused approach and drive for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering or time served apprenticeship preferably in a mechanical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, repair, and maintain TechnipFMC equipment and tools according to service manuals.
• Prepare equipment, tooling, backups and spare parts prior to job start.
• Perform calculations and checks onshore and offshore (space-outs, pressures, etc).
• Independently or with a team, execute field service activities following standards.
• Complete Field Service Orders and related service reports with accurate details.
• Communicate defects to Service Management and ensure documentation.
• Maintain daily communication with client representatives regarding procedures and status.
• Support project execution by reporting to the Service Project Manager and escalate when needed.
• Prepare safety documentation and pursue safe work practices per QMS and QHSE.
