Job summary

Expert Employment Limited is seeking an Electronic Technician or Electrician to support offshore drilling equipment, improve maintenance metrics, and uplift reliability and people productivity in Scotland.

The candidate should hold COMPEX certification for electronics or electrical work, have circuit and systems knowledge, and be capable of diagnosing faults, reading schematics, and servicing control systems and automation devices.

Qualifications

• COMPEX certified Electronics or COMPEX certified Electrician present.
• Electronic circuits, components, and systems knowledge.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment and instruments.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Control system, sensor, and automation equipment knowledge.
• Ability to install, calibrate, and maintain electronic systems and devices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment per maintenance systems and standard work.
• Support offshore projects, including parts repair and maintenance.
• Investigate assigned failures.
• Record materials, labour costs and maintenance history such as movements, work orders, parts, etc.
