Zusammenfassung

NOV is seeking an Electrical Service Engineer for its UK Aftermarket Service team. The role is home-based in mainland UK with extensive international travel, diagnosing faults across electrical and control systems and supporting installation, commissioning and maintenance of NOV equipment.

Qualifikationen

• Completed recognised time-served apprenticeship in electrical engineering or maintenance.
• Experience with heavy machinery, industrial equipment or automated systems.
• Knowledge of PLC and computer-controlled systems is essential.

Aufgaben

• Service, repair, overhaul and inspect NOV equipment at customer locations worldwide.
• Support installation and commissioning of electrical and control systems.
• Diagnose faults using drawings, schematics and system diagnostics including PLC and VFDs.
• Make minor PLC or software changes and ensure safe, quality work.
• Respond to urgent operational needs and coordinate with NOV teams as required.
• Communicate with customers with clear progress updates and recommendations.
• Prepare service documentation such as reports, parts lists and redlines.
• Collaborate with Service, Engineering, Quality and HSE teams to improve reliability.
• Promote safe practices and adhere to HSE standards and requirements.
• Travel internationally on ad-hoc basis to support customer requirements.
