Position: Electromechanical Assembler

The Electromechanical Assembler within the Production Department is primarily responsible for building and visually inspecting the company’s products. The assembler reports directly to the Production Manager and may work abroad.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies according to assembly drawings, instructions, and bills of materials.
  2. Diagnose mechanical faults in camera sub-assemblies to the component level and manage repairs or replacements, returning defective items to the appropriate supervisor.
  3. Perform dispatch and goods-in functions as necessary.
  4. Assist in testing, kit verification, stock counts, and packing.
  5. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve current products and contribute to risk prevention and design improvement processes.
  6. Participate in training activities for flexible working.
  7. Monitor and report low stock levels of consumables, including B-stock items.
  8. Maintain an organized and tidy work area, ensuring all stock and tools are correctly stored.
  9. Work to high standards of quality and safety, using correct documentation.
  10. Participate in quality control, waste minimization, and other improvement activities.
  11. Work independently to meet deadlines and as part of a focused team.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  1. Experience in mechanical assembly preferred.
  2. Experience in electronic/box build assembly.
  3. Meticulous with a good eye for detail.
  4. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  5. Enthusiastic and committed to company goals.
  6. Organized and tidy.
  7. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and databases.
