National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) is seeking a Commercial Projects Lead - Distribution to oversee a diverse portfolio of network interventions from the East Midlands, in a hybrid home/office role.

You will balance value for money with safety, lead relationship building with partners, and ensure delivery against time, cost and quality targets while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experienced in transformation and continuous improvement within project or commercial environments.
• Preferably regulated industry experience or ability to quickly build this knowledge.
• Hold relevant professional qualifications in project/commercial disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation (CDM, ESQCR, Electricity at Work).

Responsabilités

• Champion safety culture and ensure interventions meet regulatory standards.
• Deliver the commercial projects programme within schedules and baselines.
• Balance proactive and reactive interventions across the portfolio.
• Improve efficiency and value for money while managing budgets.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure contractual compliance.
• Communicate with senior leaders and a wide stakeholder network.
