Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our facilities management team in Hull. The role covers the maintenance of government-owned commercial buildings across Hull and surrounding areas, with a focus on planned and reactive electrical works.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent), be fully qualified with 18th Edition, and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Able to pass security vetting checks.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• Electrical fault finding, repairs and general maintenance
• Maintaining electrical infrastructure, lighting, distribution boards and associated plant
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults
• Carrying out electrical testing, inspections and remedial works
• Supporting general building fabric and maintenance duties where required
• Completing maintenance reports and updating CAFM systems
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
• Liaising with site teams, clients and subcontractors

I am currently working with a leading Facilities Management company who are looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join their team, maintaining a portfolio of government-owned commercial buildings across Hull and the surrounding area.

Our client is looking for a fully qualified Electrician with experience in commercial building maintenance to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical systems and building services.
