Job summary

Bromford Flagship LiveWest is seeking a dedicated Electrician for a fixed-term, full-time role focused on quality electrical maintenance, repairs and installations across domestic and commercial properties.

You’ll work with a supportive team, with clear workloads, on‑call pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including enhanced annual leave and a strong pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience with 18th Edition wiring regulations or equivalent time served.
• City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certificate.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
• AM2 qualification preferred but not essential.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
• Proficiency with IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs and installations across domestic and commercial properties.
• Maintaining and fault‑finding on electrical and mechanical systems, including boiler controls and HVAC units.
• Completing rewiring, testing and inspections to ensure systems are safe and compliant.
• Diagnosing issues quickly and delivering high‑quality repairs.
• Managing materials, recording work accurately and working safely to regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring homes are safe and fit for purpose.

Excellent out-of-hours pay

£864 per week for on‑call rota, covering availability, support, and first‑time fix payments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Maintaining and fault‑finding on electrical and mechanical systems, including boiler controls, pumps, communal lighting, hot water systems, and HVAC units
• Completing rewiring, testing, and inspections to ensure systems are safe and compliant
• Diagnosing issues quickly and delivering high‑quality, efficient repairs
• Managing materials, recording work accurately, and working safely in line with regulations
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring homes are safe and fit for purpose
• Experience with 18th Edition wiring regulations or equivalent time served
• City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certificate
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification
• AM2 qualification preferred but not essential
• Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
• Proficiency with IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Basic DBS check (arranged by BFL)
